A. Everything is! The entire Wakpominee District web site has been revamped to bring you lots of new, up-to-date information! Keep your eye on the "Wakpominee News Banner" at the top of the home page, for quick updates on current activities, events and announcements!

Q. Where can I find out more about District and Council Events?

A. A great place to start is the 2001-2002 Program Calendar and Planning guide. Copies are distributed in the kickoff packets each July-August adn are available at the Service Center. Another source for event information is the Signals Newsletter. Last but not least, be sure to browse the District Calendar web page - all District and Council Events are listed!

Q. Who can I call for help with Rechartering?

A. Rechartering doesn't have to be hard... your Unit Commissioner can provide you with training on how to complete your rechartering package and have it in on time! Roundtables also provide "Rechartering Made Easy" Workshops. If you are not sure who your Unit Commissioner is.please contact the District Commissioner - there's an email link on the District Committee page, or you can call the Service Center for further information.)

Q. Who approves adult leader applications ?

A. Leadership selection is an important responsibility. The chartering organization is responsibility for ensuring appropriate unit leadership. The chartering organization and committee chairperson must review approve and sign all adult applications.

Q. One of our youth members is ready to start working on his Eagle project; who can we call for advise and guidance?

A. The District Advancement Chairperson is a great resource for this and other advancement questions. They can provide the scout with guidance on using the Eagle Service Project Workbook and preparing their application. There's an email link on the District Committee page, or you can call or stop in to the Service Center for further information.
