q       Completed Personal Health and Medical Record (i.e. physical exam form)
w/ parent & physician signature

q       Medication, if needed (prescription only) w/ current dosage/instruction label and scout’s name and  troop# 

q       Inhaler (i.e. asthma) or bee-sting kit, if needed

q       Sleeping bag or 3 warm blankets and pillow

q       Scout handbook (available in the camp trading post)

q       Scout Uniform(s)

q       Underwear (3 changes)

q       Socks (4 pair)

q       Sneakers (enclosed-toe shoes must be worn at all times for safety)

q       Hiking boots (enclosed-toe shoes must be worn at all times for safety)

q       Casual (work) shirts (2)

q       Shorts and T-Shirts

q       Pajamas

q       Sweater or sweatshirt

q       Windbreaker or jacket

q       Raincoat or poncho

q       Swim trunks

q       Towels

q       Toilet articles, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, metal mirror, soap in plastic container, shampoo, and deodorant

q       Washcloth and hand towel

q       Flashlight & spare batteries (available in the camp trading post)

q       Extra shoe or boot laces

q       Kleenex or handkerchief

q       Insect Repellent

q       Pack and frame

q       Wallet and money for purchase of trading post items

 

RECOMMENDED

Items may be needed if working on Camping, Cooking or Wilderness Survival or going on an overnight hike:

q       Plastic ground cloth

q       Eating utensils (i.e. bowl, cup, fork, knife and spoon)

q       Canteen or water bottle

q       Compass (available in the camp trading post)

q       Jackknife (available in the camp trading post)

q       Matches in waterproof case (flint & steel is available in the camp trading post)

q       Personal first-aid kit

q       Prayer book, Bible or other reading material

q       Musical instrument (if you can play “taps” on a bugle or trumpet please notify the camp office)

q       Swim fins/face mask (for snorkeling)

q       Plastic bag with hand laundry soap

q       Rope: 30' nylon cord

q       Watch or alarm clock

Scouts taking Swimming or Lifesaving merit badge, BSA Lifeguard or the Pioneer Program should bring a pair of long pants, belt, socks & shoes, and a button up long-sleeve shirt for clothing inflation.

 

Each item of clothing and equipment should be labeled with your Scout’s name and troop number. This will be helpful in returning items lost in camp.  Lost and found items should be reported directly to the camp office.
