The Camp Wakpominee Alumni Association is committed to improving and impacting the camp experience for all scouts.  In this sprit, the CWAA is proud to announce that it will again be offering Wakpominee Scholarships!

 The CWAA is looking for model scouts who actively demonstrate the Scout Oath and Scout Law in their everyday lives.  Four scouts will be chosen based on merit, to receive a scholarship equal to ½ of the early-bird camp fee to return to Camp Wakpominee in 2009.  The CWAA believes that by encouraging experienced campers to return to camp, we can add an otherwise impossible depth to the experience for newer scouts.  Because this is not a need-based program, we encourage all experienced campers to apply for this opportunity!  In order to apply, each scout should:

• Have already attended Camp Wakpominee for at least one season previously.
• Submit a 1-page essay explaining the positive impact Camp Wakpominee has had on their lives.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a non-parent scout leader.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a member of a school, religious, or civic group.
• Complete the application
